The Alumni Council is made of representatives selected by each graduating class. The purpose of the alumni council is to maintain class networks, generate resources and filter communication. Duties and responsibilities of a class representative include:
Serve as liaison between LNI staff/board and class members for the dissemination of general information both from LNI to the class and from the class to LNI.
Serve on the Alumni Council which will periodically meet as a group for planning and decision making on behalf of the alumni and your class.
Serve on one of the project teams or committees established by the Alumni Council.
Coordinate volunteer efforts of the class for special LNI projects and/or class-specific initiatives.
Serve as a touch point for class member status/information (i.e. – find anyone that we have lost contact with).
Make reminder contacts (RE: alumni dues, events, fundraising, etc.) to class members when needed.
Create and participate in friendly competition between classes on occasion.
Encourage, motivate, inspire and excite the members of your class to be a part of the LNI alumni network and LNI as a whole.
